There is the Aya Yorgi, a church, at the top of the Buyukada island. On special days people walk nake footed up to the church and build from natural objects houses, so that they will have a house soon. This is my house...

My birthday was on the 5th of October but I could only find time now to upload the photos. This is in the Buyukada, an island of Istanbul. The blondy girl on my side is my cousin idil, living in Germany. She was very kind to spend the day with me doing whatever I like. She loved the island too because there were so many cats and she is crazy for cats :)

A cabbage growing in mom's organic farm... It is fun but hard work to be in the village... You have to get up early- since midday its too hot to work. If the dog is barking you may not be able to sleep. All day long you have to clibm, jumb, walk in dust and on uneven roads between trees, seeds, and person-height wild grass.

The small district of town Bodrum, Yalikavak is famous for its windmills. These are historical remainings and it gives you a clue how the weather is in this sea cost: Windy!!!
Unfourtunately I realised I forgot to take a picture of the windmill since I was fully involved in the Windmill art, culture and sports festival taking place around the mill...
The festival days were usually sport contest and things for the youth but the nights were a lot of fun with concerts, shows and fireworks.

In the evenings there were the poetry hours where I met great writers, poets and a singer who all seem to be creating a change in my life. We enjoyed with them a lot of prose and poetry as well as Turkish Raki (Alchololic drink made of anason) , fresh fish, songs and a day of blue travel-yatch tour.
The most beautiful thing about meeting with these literate people was not the new things I learned, or the moments I shared but the way they saw me- a future writer and a poet, when I read them my poems and writings... In every new people I met I find something of me. Maybe the butterflies inside me :)

The song starts: How should I tell, where should I start, how many were we than, how many we are now... Bodrum bodrum....... Here you see the house I stayed. The first one on the center just behind the small yatch.The blue travels starting from this Aegean coast of Turkey are really famous. You can spend a day or weeks over the sea according to your preferences. And see the 3 colours of the sea: Blue, Green and Tourquise...

The nature brings the different colors and smoothness together... The yellow flower of the cactus shines joyfully in the warm summer sun.

Well its been a long time since I wrote to my blog. Well this time I didn't meet my cousin to restart :) Just had the time... because I have quitted my job... Now I have the time to follow a fly and try to catch a nice pic. Well actually I have a time to look around at all, after playing the three monkeys for so long...

Butterflies have all my life been so important and beatiful creatures. To me they are the symbols of wisdom, freedom, and hope... They represent the good things that people will realise after the spreading of all evil from Pandora's box...

Check this pic from the front. It is crying to us! Remember... the evil is there and the good is there too!!! Just find it in your hearth.

When I arrived to Halle Mirko met me at the train station. Mirko was my host from the HC. HC is the short form of Hospitality Club. It is a club where people from all over the world offer free accomodation or hospitality according to their possibilities. Mirko was a great host, he took me to a chinese restaurant and he even didn't let me pay...

This is a view from the tv tower in Berlin... In Berlin I wanted to see so many places. Unfortunately I couldn't... I couldn't create the time for that... I wanted to come back to BErlin on Sunday but had to go directly to the airport because on the train from Halle I realized that my plane was not at 22 but at 16pm and I hardly catch it :)) (adventageous travel hah?)

After Tubingen and Stutgart I went to Berlin with German Wings. It was a great adventure since we were late and my uncle Levent was driving a little fast. The funniest thing was we would have been early but my new camera took his attention and he missed the turn for the airport! We had to take the next turn and return back :) Well still we managed. But since my uncle had called to ask for the terminal we ran to the terminal three but we found out that german wings was in terminal 2!!!! Anyway wer made it and took my ticket and my uncle left me under a sign saying only passingers can go from this point! Guess what? He walked away and I looked at the glass door infront of me and it was locked! I looked to right and left and saw a door at the end of a small corridor... Walk slowly looking back and forth and opened the door. All the airport was shaking with the alarms!!! wrong door :))) When I walked back through the corridor I saw a handsome guard walking to me. I asked him why you put a sign here if this is not the way! He said it is an exit but temporarily closed.

Anyway I took the plane and in Berlin I went to Mitte's backpackers hostel. It was also funny because I didn't understand that the ticket machine was "touch the screen" machine and I was getting crazy and nearly missing the train to the city... Well I managed.

The hostel was a cute and funny place.
Each room was decorated in a story stile.

Well the most interesting detail from the hostel was the tv on the wall where there were couches for backpackers to sit and talk... And I loved the dragonflys too!!!!

The next day I visited the WZB center which had a great effect on my current carrier. For my first research was their project and I learned so many things and enjoyed the social statistics due to this research project.

And I visited an exhibition called "melancholi" about the melancholi in arts... Very melancholic... :)

Hey I managed to do it this time! With Picasa... Hope I succeed.
Well this photo was taken when I was in Tubingen with my aunt... Tubingen is a great town, it was so beautiful in summer. With all those flowers and everything. It is a nice city in winter too. We enjoyed the sun, cold and snow the same day in March... The coffee house worker gave me a pill for milk allergy but still I had problems with my stomach because of the nice mint coffeee I drank. We ate something between a pizza and pan cake. What was the name? I am really not sure. But it was delicious and it was interesting that the waitress forced us not to buy three pieces for three people: He said their portions are too big and he doesn't like to throw it when we wouldn't be able to eat it all. I mean you can not find many who will save you the money to not to waste!

In Germany...

I was in Germany last week. First I flew to Stutgart. Since the plane was at 5.25, and I live a little(!) outside the city, I took the 11pm bus from home to the city and 12pm bus to the airport and slept there. I was able to sleep so deep that I nearly missed the plane if it hadn't become so crowded and noisy.
The first day we shopeed, went around the city with my aunt and she caressed with buying two nice black swets in H&M.
The next day we took the train to Tubingen where my sweety cousin lives... It was so nice to be there with them. At first it was cold than we walked under the warm sun and it started to snow! Well I found a red baloon and a black head band and a small plastic ladybird (uğurböceği). Bring me luck ladybird :)

Everytime I get close to my cousin- or have some kind of communication with her, I feel like I should do a blog for my own! But it is usually problematic- I do not have the time, power or the friends to read my blog. We in Turkey usually lack the new ways of communicating through the internet. Bla bla... so many excuses. Will see. Just trying once again :)
